I really enjoyed this practice. It was fun to have the joy of painting back after a month of it gone missing thanks to illness.
I used my best paper for this and on this project, I could REALLY tell the difference! It has me wishing that I could afford to use it for all my paintings.
I know it's not perfect but I went with my first attempt. My husband is home all this week and I wanted to hang out with him!
We hope you will join us!

This is such a beauty Angela - the intensity of the mountains is so beautiful, reminds me so much of British Columbia when the mountains would appear to turn this colour. A wonderful card. Pleased to hear that you are feeling better.

The majestic mountains are striking with their color and depth. You painted one outstanding scene. Love the added meadow flowers. Glad you used your good paper, and yes it does make a difference. I practice on my cheap paper and use the good paper for my projects. Wonderful that you are feeling better, and wishing you a happy and healthy new year to you and your family. Fav'd

I saw this on my phone, but it's so much better even on my computer screen. I just love all the different colors in the foreground. I couldn't figure out how to do that well. This is an amazing scene!
