I recently got this image from Power Poppy, & decided to use it for a card for my former counselor & his wife. They live in the country, so I thought this picture would be perfect.
I sized the image in Photoshop as per the sketch & printed it onto a panel of vellum bristol paper. I used my Prismacolor pencils to color it in.
I adhered a panel of patterned paper from "Woodland Wonderland" to my white card base. I cut a square of red patterned paper (from my scrap stash) to layer behind the image panel, & adhered both squares to my card.
I stamped the greeting onto a strip of green cardstock, & added 2 narrow strips of kraft above & below the strip. I cut them slightly wider than I needed, and adhered them to the back of my strip (so they still peeked out) before adhering it to my card. I love how this card came out, & I'm sure the recipients did, too!
