My inspiration this week is this book: https://www.bluebellgray.com/that-s-not-my-robin.html. I've noticed that robins are often part of the Christmas theme in the UK. I've always thought of them as the harbingers of Spring. Guess I need to do some research on this.
My research turned up this about robins:
In the late 1800s the arrival of Christmas cards from loved ones was hugely important to people. They were delivered by beloved Victorian postmen, dressed in bright red uniforms (a prominent colour in the British flag) which in time led to the adoption of the nickname 'Robins.'
