I kinda went to town on this weekâs Featured Stamper challenge! I couldnât decide on a card to CASE so I did three! Jo Ann has an amazing gallery that definitely hits my clean and simple sweet spot.
Her Japanese-themed card reminded me that I have a bunch of Asian-themed stamps that I havenât pulled out in forever, and in particular I had a fan stamp similar to the one on her card. I thought the images went well with this collage-style paper from K & Company. I started with a white cardstock panel and cut three strips of the bluish paper and attached to the card. I tore up my room looking for gold metallic thread, I know I have some SOMEWHERE but eventually gave up and went with some narrow gold rickrack instead. I wrapped a piece around the cardstock panel and secured in the back. The green panel with the stamped seals is actually the reverse of the other paper. I stamped two different seal designs in Old Olive ink on the panel. It didnât have as much contrast as I would like to I put a scrap of Olive cardstock k behind it and attached with foam tape. I stamped the fan on another scrap of paper from the same pad and cut it out and layered it onto another scrap of the Olive green cardstock and attached to the green panel. Just a blank notecard so no sentiment.
Congrats on being the Featured Stamper, Jo Ann, and enjoy your week!

Love Asian theme cards - had a brother living overseas for about a decade and he brought me such marvelous objects de art from there! I noticed the many Asian cards in Jo Anns gallery, (hers and) yours is exceptionally lovely.

Beautiful papers for the base and I love that extra layer of Old Olive contrast. Great take on the inspiration card and a beautiful card for any occasion.
