I posted a black and white card yesterday before I knew what this week's WT challenge was going to be, but thought I'd be cheating if I linked it to the challenge. This is a super quick card to add to the stack for the card ministry I do for our church.
Simply die cut the cover die in black, adhere it to the white card base and add a little shimmer to the rays. Add a scripture verse and greeting to the inside and it's done.
I do save all the pieces to make the inverse image but it takes a bit longer to complete. I've saved a template of this die to make that process a bit quicker.
This afternoon I am expecting the arrival of our two-year old grandson for a few nights - it's an unexpected delight that he'll be here but it'll mean I have to be super productive with last minute Christmas tasks while he naps over the next few days. And I'll have lots of 'help' with everything when he's not napping.
Thanks for stopping by. Will try and check out the gallery when little man sleeps.

This is fabulous. It looks like a wonderful woodcut print.

What a wonderful design and those contrasts of the light and the dark, have some real significance in the meaning of Christmas. The light of the world has come, and darkness will never overtake it. Love it!

What a beautiful die, a great stash-building one I am sure. Thank you for making a fresh card for the challenge! Enjoy both your time when your grandson is active and his nap times .
