Prink card base with red stripe frame. Added a layer of holly paper. Overtop a tag die-cut with an added gold thread to hang with a bow at the top. Die-cut and stamped my headline and glued over foil tag. Added a 3D cardinal sticker at top of the tag. At the bottom is a poinsettia with a gold glitter glue center and die-cut leaves. Another fairly simple card uses assorted kit pieces and trims from a package. I chose the name because cardinals are our loved ones coming to us when needed. A blessing I believe to be true...

What a beautiful card. The layers of prints and textures look wonderful. I especially love the red foil tag. I will look at cardinals differently now, such a lovely concept.
It is so pretty. I miss the cardinals that visited us at our other home. Not very many trees here, so they don’t visit. Great use of kit pieces and packaging.

Beautiful card. Love the bg text as well as your striped and holly layers. But my heart swoons over that great Cardinal. I love what you wrote too. I hadn't heard that about cardinals before, but I will always think about that now. Thanks for the lovely card share and as well as the Cardinal lore. Hugs.
