I've started by die cutting a circle out off a square paper, used first the square negative to mask and sponged the circle with salty ocean and added a bit of iced spruce on one side of the circle, then took off the square mask and used the circle to mask the sponged part and sponged all around with fired brick and spiced marmelade, splattered with water, stamped the corners and laid down the square again to stamp the lady inside the circle, so this is just one layer.

This is just super and I love that you used both pieces of your circle mask to add lots of interest to this card. Your stamped image has the illusion of being masked, too.

And what's not to like. Gorgeous card and your masking is fabulous. Love the vintage image and the added "framing" with the leaves. Wonderful and beautiful.
