The color challenge this past week was a wintery confection. Thank you, Mrs B...delicious! I have to say, the middle layer of my stenciled forest trees is reading orange, but I promise they are really a subtle pink. I've used Crumb Cake for the base and the Mint Macaron for the sentiment.
Lisa (Shoe Girl), asked us to bring trees to the CAS. If this is not CAS enough, I apologize. Your call for trees had me remembering many fond memories of Christmas at my grandparents home. My Dad's mom had to have a pink flocked tree each Christmas! Not very common in the '60's for flocked trees, much less PINK. I've done pink trees in my gallery before, but not a forest of pink! Thank you, Lisa. I'd love to see that drum set tree.
Thanks for your comments...can't wait to see the galleries. Peace

I adore your forest of pink trees and love the stenciling in the bg of the die cuts. The glittery "snow" atop the gentle slopes is magical. Love the layout as well as reading about your childhood memories. I have a vague memory of a family friend who had a pink tree, but I think there's was fake. Thanks for sharing both. And Peace Be Unto You, as well. Hugs.

What a gorgeous forest scene! I love your choice of non traditional colors. Love the sparkle on the snow and dusting of the coppery look on the trees. Cool 3-d look too. TFS your creativity with us.

Wouldn't this be a wonderful forest to wander through! Simply gorgeous. Love the bg and the glittery pines. So pretty.

Well, I have to say there is something about a pink flocked tree! We walk by one regularly which is in a spa window. Totally fun! I love your pink flocked card with all the embossing and that gorgeous peace stamp amongst all the glitter. Gorgeous Susan!
