I was pleasantly surprised to receive an Ebay order shipped from China several weeks earlier than expected, as I figured the Christmas items in the mix would be for next year. I decided to try out the small wreath die when I saw this picture from todayâs Inspiration challenge:
And thought it would combine well with this weekâs color challenge as well. I made a top folding card from Kraft cardstock and layered on a piece of a Tim Holtz Christmas paper pad for the wood âdoorâ look. I die cut the wreath three times from a scrap of light green cardstock and three times from some pink pattern paper. I cut the bow from the pink wreaths and layered it onto the green wreaths, and then added some iridescent glitter glue to the bows (which photographed oddly, there are no dark marks on the bows in real life).
I glued the three wreaths to a strip of light brown cardstock, and then ran another scrap of the light green through a swirly vine embossing folder. I attached the green piece to the card front and layered on the brown strip with the wreaths, and finished by stamping a Christmas greeting inside.
Thanks for looking!

This week's colors look great here. I always love woodgrain and wreaths combined together and adding the green layer is a wonderful touch. Your wreath die reminds me of a Penny Black die I own so your card has given me some ideas for that one. Thanks for sharing your lovely card and for the inspiration.
