My sample for the Color Challenge hosted by Karen: Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake with bling for the dessert option.
I had a lovely piece from a scrapbook kit that was gifted to me in a stash basket on my desk, waiting for its opportunity to be used. It was perfect for this challenge combo with the darker leaves as the neutral Mossy Meadow.
The word and swirls are gold foil and so shiny, which fits the bling option. I gave my card a touch of a shabby chic look by distressing & sponging ink on the edges of the Crumb Cake plaid. I used gold metallic thread in a loose bow behind the panel, which I have noticed is a popular trend lately. Finished off with two gold faceted gems and tiny gems in the flower centers. So glad to use this piece today and have a card to send a smile.
I look forward to seeing your beautiful and creative paper hugs & smiles created with these gorgeous colors.

What a pretty card, Diane! I love the panels at different angles, and adore the edge treatment on the crumb cake plaid panel. Very pretty foil sentiment, too!

Diane you're a trendy girl for sure with your metallic thread and gold foiled sentiment! This is a beautiful card and love the layout! Superb, I'd say!
