I usually go overboard with my inspiration challenge cards, but todayâs was pretty quick and easy, and gave me a chance to use some of a paper pad I got several years ago and have been slow to use. I thought of it immediately when I saw this inspiration picture:
Because there is plenty of black/grey and red in that paper collection, including some plaid. I also had a dark grey card laying around my desk, made from the other half of a piece of cardstock from a card I made a couple of weeks back (so I guess this could count for the Thursday Ways to Use It challenge also!). I grabbed the card and a piece of the plaid paper , and cut it down to size and attached to the grey card. I cut the reindeer strip from a page of border strips and added it to the card. I used a square die to cut the sentiment from a collage page of lots of Christmas sentiments and sayings, and cut a larger square from a page that was mostly dark grey/ light black. I layered them together and attached with foam tape and bam! Another card for my Christmas stack!
Thanks for a fun challenge!

Great job recreating your inspiration piece into a card. Lovely!
