Whenever I purchase a new die I have to run it through my Big Shot at least once to test it out and see if it will live up to my hopes for it. Sometimes I don't get back to things for a while and this year has provided way too many situations where time in my Rubber Room has been hard to come by. I ordered this die last January so it's long overdue that I put my 'test piece' onto a card.
Found a pre-cut piece of Shimmery cardstock by Astrobrights in my stash, glued it on a card base and voila, instant birthday card. Even the sentiment was already stamped, die cut and sitting in a pile that I had pre-stamped a couple of weeks ago and haven't stored them where they belong yet.
Again, this is the sort of challenge I really need to take part in - frequently! Thanks for the push Lisa.

What a beautiful die. I always consider it a slight relief that American A2 coverplate dies are just the wrong size for a metric card so that in my mind there is no temptation, no matter how gorgeous they are! I like the simple blue and white.

Amazing test piece with this die cut. I really need to do that with my die cuts to make sure they work but alas stuff comes in when I am working and only get a bit of time to craft so I just put stuff away then pull it out when I need it.
