So, Lisa, I don't recall hearing much about your famous tote bag lately. Is everything used up??
For today's WT, I used some very old decorative paper behind my painting, a sentiment I've never used, and a bunch of the red pearls. They're the type that you have to cut a strip of however many you want.
Also for yesterday's WCW challenge: as I'm painting this tree, I'm thinking 'this is really going to be one of the worst WCW challenges I've done. The sketching was tough; I did look up some drawing videos but they were either kindergarten or not intended for painting. I couldn't see what she was sketching very well. I sketched mostly triangular shapes, getting progressively larger, using some jagged, scribbly edges. When I started painting the needles and branches, that is when I got nervous. But, in the end, not too bad. I tried to use several shades of green and blue for the needles. I did use masking fluid, with some success. The ornaments/lights needed some shine so I used the Cosmic Shimmer, also for the snow. Splattered with the white acrylic paint. I have no idea why I painted a trunk but, since I did, I made the trunk go up the tree. After all, you'd still see the trunk. This was an adventure for sure.
