TLC Challenge hosted by Karen to use the Starburst Background technique. This technique was perfect for a Senior woman who loves the color yellow and could use some sunshine in the mail due to recent setbacks.
I gathered a variety of DSP scraps in Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Summer Sun, So Saffron. It took me a few days to cut and arrange, but it was fun. Trimmed the panel, matted with Pumpkin Pie and adhered to a Daffodil Delight cardbase.
I stamped the happy sun in Daffodil Delight and the sentiment in Crushed Curry, and then die-cut into a scallop circle. Popped it up on Dimensionals a little off the edge for fun. I rolled a glitter Gelly Roll pen on the inside edge of each wedge and on the sunrays. It is super sparkly!
Terrific challenge and wonderful way to use scraps. Thanks, Karen. TFL

This is such a cheery card - it should indeed bring some sunshine to the recipient.

Fabulous! The sunburst with the smashing color/print combo, awesome. The headline is so sweet and the perfect matching framing for your beautiful design is excellent.
