As I already mentioned in the thread my favourite zoo animal is the red panda, hands down. I'd say penguins and ring-tailed lemurs tie for second. I won't tell you how many red panda photos I took in the Parc Animalier in the Pyrenees - and I've seen them in two other places in France as well as our zoo here.
Penguins are the only one of those three I have stamps of - but I went with a giraffe because I love this stamp.
I dug some old brads, and a DP with a slight geometric design in it which works well with the stencil. Masked the giraffe and stencilled the background. Coloured him with Polychromos pencils. I didn't want him crammed onto an A2 card, so I sponged some white card with green for the matting layer, and added a border from ODBD which adds to the general sort of "ethnic" look, I think.

Oh I do love this giraffe image, Sabrina, looks terrific with the dp, stencilling and brads! I love the fancy die cut, too. I think my favourite zoo animal would be the meerkat.

This is the coolest.....what a fun stamp! Your giraffe like brads and the bg stenciling are the perfect compliments to the guy with his head in the clouds. Fab!!

I've seen some red pandas too in the Parc Animalier but they were very lazy!! They sleep a lot, your giraffe is very pretty and I love the African look of the card

That's a super stamp; I don't think I've ever seen it put I love the head above the clouds theme. And how impressive is it that you had giraffe-themed brads. (Organizing embellishments is on my to-do list, maybe over the holidays. As it is now, I probably couldn't locate those brads if I knew I had them.)

I agree with you about not wanting to cram this lovely tall giraffe into a small card - he needs his space. It is fun to see him with his head above the rain clouds. Another world up there.

This is funny, I JUST saw that Katzelkraft stamp earlier this week and almost bought it (but didn’t…yet), so cute! And I love the way you stenciled the background with different colors below and above the clouds -cool effect! Nice embellishments as well to complete another great card!

Oh, Sabrina, this is amazing. I love everything about it. Super giraffe image, the brads are bang on, and the border mimics the clouds and rain. Superb!
