This week we have the pleasure of perusing the very fun and creative Gallery of the newest Featured Stamper, Sue aka StampinForMySanity. She has a fun name to go with that fun Gallery. I had a ton of tabs open, but I pretty much knew this would be the one when I first saw it: Springtime Joy Fun Fold Easter Card by StampinForMySanity at Splitcoaststampers
For some reason, that sweet lamb immediately made me think of this ADFD stamps, which I just adore. I loved Sue's bright spring colors so I stayed with her color scheme. I also like the flowers in her panel, so I added the row of flowers behind the donkey. I don't have any cute floral dp, so I created the flower panels using another ADFD digital stamp. That really took me the longest because I kept futzing with the flowers and where to place them. I'm still not HAPPY, but I'm happy enough so I went with it as is. The card base just looked too plain, so I stamped a tone-on-tone floral pattern just for something. It barely shows IRL, so I'm surprised that it showed up in the pic. The image panel is mounted on foam tape.
Congratulations Sue. You have a delightful Gallery and I love the layouts and your use of the beautiful dps. Your little lamb really made me smile so I hope this cute donkey does the same for you. And, I hope the day brings each of you a smile and some sunny yellow glow. TFL.

What a sweet image and wonderfully done with your pretty flowers in the bg. The tone on tone stamping does add just that little something extra...subtle yet effective

That little donkey image is super cute, Debbie. Love your color scheme and those neat looking flowers. I'd say you created some great flowery dp! Sweet case of Sue's sweet card!

What a sweet image - makes for a wonderfully cheery card. Great job on the floral panel. You can stop being hard on yourself. ;-) Great case of Sue's card.

Such a sweet pick and a sweet CASE, too. You really captured a lovely and peaceful spring feel. I love all of your details. They add up together beautifully!

Adorable image and great coloring, Debbie. This is a very sweet and pretty case. I had two donkeys a few years ago and I totally loved them. They were so sweet (let me pet them and always came when I called). Someone stold them from us - can you image that? Anyway, this reminds me of them. Sweet case. Hugz

Debbie, this is such a sweet whimsical take on Sue's card. I love your precious little donkey surrounded by flowers. The floral designer paper background is the perfect addition to highlight your scene. This made me happy this morning.

You did this card great justice! I love ADFD; She has such a unique design style. I lost all my digi images in a crash, but salvaged some that were printed out in hard copy. I just looked for her images yesterday, but sadly, she is no longer operational. Your colours are spot on; you did a fabulous job on the floral panel and I love it all.

Wow! I really like that super subtle stamping on the base. What a fun twist that it shows up so well in the photo. I am always sad when my glitter doesn't show up on the photo but sparkles IRL. Your donkey is so sweet. I love where Sue's inspiration took you! This is a darling card!
