So, I had gotten this bird/branch die in the mail recently and even more recently than that I tore my room apart but, I came across these bird ornaments and used the colors from the black capped chickadees as the colors for my birds. I have been diecutting some of my cheaper watercolor paper as shapes and painting it and that seems to work better than doing scenes on it. I know its a goofy shot. I had used liquid glue on the branches and although it dries clear it also dries SHINY when it leaks ... so the two on the left have white gouache as "falling snow" does it help? I may do the two on the right later but, hubs cannot really see the difference. Thanks for this challenge Amy & tfl.

What sweet birds, Stacy, and how nice to have 4 Christmas cards done using them! Pretty wintry colors...I love the falling snow in your scene because it adds to the coldness of the season~
