This week the Tea Potters are a celebrating a 100th birthday by rolling the dice to pick a decade to decorate our cards, I rolled the 70's (is it cheating if you say Siri, roll a 7?).
Elvis released the song "Burning Love" with it's iconic Hunka Hunka refrain in 1973. I really do love this Elvis stamp and whenever I have used it in the past I have stamped it baby blue and trimmed in black. But as a nod to the 70's I went for more colorful (but not quite psychedelic) colors and I used a 70's font called Keep on Truckin to computer generate the sentiment strip and inside sentiment.
I love that we get to celebrate such a happy and momentous occasion. I hope our recipient is showered with all the love and joy 100 years deserves. I hope you are showered with love and joy as well. TFL.

Great job showcasing Elvis and that decade! Your Keep on Truckin font is perfect for the 70s!

How much fun is this. Some of my all time favorite songs are Elvis songs and hubby and I still take a turn together when we hear "I can't help falling in love".

wow - this is a great card. Took me a few seconds to make out the Elvis head, but when it did - this card really became awesome! The background with the definition is terrific ! Great job.

Love the coloured manuscript paper with Elvis...and of course the great script background. There seem to be a lot of seventies cards . It's not the number I would have chosen of I could have says DH, pick a number between 4 and 5.
