Mary is our hostess for this week's Color Challenge, CC871. She has selected Garden Green, Real Red, and Mango Melody with the Dessert Option of "designer paper".
I hope my design this week doesn't appear to have been created on the fly such as it was in reality. Having lost two close friends this past week has sure brought the aging process to light, making me think don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy life as much as you can! With that said, I still enjoyed Mary's challenge even if I feel my design was thrown together.
I hope you join the design team and participate in Mary's challenge, we would be delighted to view your inspirational creation! Thank you for taking a look!

LeAnn this is a wonderful, fun card and certainly doesn't look made in haste. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's always difficult but even more so at this time of year.

Your design is awesome. Love the string of lights in the challenge colors. I'm glad you didn't sweat it and just ran with it. Each day is a gift and as you said, we should enjoy it as we can. Stamping and card-making is a wonderful stress reliever. You made a good one. So sorry for your loss. Hugs!!!

You may feel this was "thrown together" but I like your layout very much! The papers you chose go together so well and I love the gift and Christmas lights strung across the top!

LeAnn, you see what we don't! You think the card was "thrown together" because of the lens you look through. I'm so sorry you had a tough week, but you created a beautiful card, nonetheless. Love the light bulbs (and the big, red ones on the side, too!).
