Cards are being sent to Joyce this week as she is recuperating from a stroke. Polly is our hostess and suggestions were to illustrate something warm. I decided to make this a Christmas quilt for Joyce as it will take awhile coming from Canada. I used a pale yellow dp that has a subtle background of roses on it. I stamped the quilt in black and used memento ink to stamp the inside images that I used copics on. I stamped also in Versamagic to use a tombow marker on the center poinsettia. I had not noticed that Joyce likes cardinals but Sharon's card alerted me to that detail. I had a boo boo on the bottom Noel so that was the answer to cover that up. I doubled up the cardinals and glued them down.

A beautiful and delightful Christmas quilt. Love all the small festive images you used on this; but I really enjoyed that the cardinals form a Christmas tree -- very sneaky and very cool. Those are wonderful cardinal dies. Great card.

oh my gosh - this card is another perfect one for Joyce. The quilt is gorgeous, and I love all the cardinals on it and that you have them set up in the shape of a Christmas tree. Excellent.
Thank you.
