I needed more Christmas cards for my stash. I went to my Christmas scrap stash to see if there were any pieces that I could use for another card. I found the sentiment stamped vanilla strip, stamped/die-cut mittens, and scalloped cherry cobbler circle. I had written Gumball Green on the back of the mitten die-cuts, so I went to my old Christmas dsp stash to see if I could find a patterned piece whose colors would work with my pieces, which gave me the building blocks for my card colors and cardstock. Next, I visited my list of old Challenge Catch-ups for inspiration on just what I might need to do to meet some challenges and lots of ideas began to percolate!
1) AOCC21 - All Occasion Card Challenge/ August 2021 - 8/1/21. A Christmas card needed for my stash.
2) USEIT2021 - Use It Challenge/ August 2021. This is an ongoing/ annual challenge requiring you to use old, long unused items gathering dust AND/OR old/ new items purchased but seemingly forgotten...never opened or used! My OLD items from 2012: DSP/ Cs: Be of Good Cheer, Gumball Green. Stamp/ Punch/ Embossing Folder: Make A Mitten, Mitten Builder punch, Snowburst embossing folder. I had these pieces in my stash and decided it was time to throw them out or make a card!
3) FS742 - Featured Stamper Challenge/ Martina's Beautiful Gallery - 4/25/21. Loved checking out Martina's beautiful cards. I chose this "Merry Christmas" card because of its Christmas theme and Nordic winter sweater print. I kept the Christmas theme and sweater print, but applied it to winter mittens instead of a background. I changed the color scheme, layout, and stamped my sentiment instead of using a die-cut.
4) WORD0121 - Fan Club Monthly Themes - January 2021/ Snowed In! - 1/27/21. In keeping with the central theme, and thinking of keeping warm when it's snowing, my card depicts winter Christmas mittens. It is for the WORD Challenge...elements used that start with the letters in SLED: S=scallop, silver, sentiment; L=Layers; E=Embossing, edge punch; D=designer paper, dies.
5) F4A563 - Free 4 All Challenge/ Bring Out the Old - 12/4/20. Use an "old" Christmas stamp, die, etc. to make a card. My papers, stamps, punches, and embossing folder have all been retired since 2012.
7) ABC13W23 - Alphabet Challenge/ Round 13 - Letter "W" - 9/2/20. My Letter "W" is for Winter mittens.
WT763 - Ways to Use It Challenge/ Hands On - 10/24/19. Challenge to add hands of some kind...clock hands, card hands, hand images, hand print, etc. My card is more like "Hands In"...my mittens are to put your hands in to keep warm!
9) MMTPT595 - Teapot Challenge/ Christmas Cheer - 12/17/19. Make a Christmas card that a young child would enjoy...
10) SCSCCJUL18 - Fan Club Monthly 2018 Christmas Challenges/ Start with Letter "M"! - 11/1/19. My letter "M" is for mittens!
11) IC694 - Inspiration Challenge/ Country Door - Mitten Stockings - 3/23/19. I chose these mitten stockings for inspiration: Mitten Stockings!
12) CCC19MAR - Christmas Card Challenge--March 2019/ Bundle Up! It's Cold Outside! - 3/1/19. My card shows warm cozy mittens knitted with a Nordic style print!
13) S2S19F - Stamp 2 Save (aka Stamp 2 Support One Another)/ Sketch - 2/14/19. Use this Sketch! provided for inspiration. I tweaked the sketch a bit. I added more color layers to the base. I divided the card front into a top dsp section and bottom sentiment section. I placed my circle on the left instead of the right.
14) CC714 - Color Challenge/ Vanilla Merlot Under the Shaded Spruce! - 11/20/18. Make a card using Very Vanilla, Merry Merlot, and Shaded Spruce. Dessert = Shimmer or Glitter. The closest I had to Merlot was Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green for Spruce. My Dessert is the shimmer of silver foil and rhinestones.
15) SC679 - Sketch Challenge - 1/3/18. I tweaked the sketch a bit. I rotated the design to horizontal rather than vertical. I add a few more base layers for color. I changed #4 rectangle to a circle and offset to left.
Ingredients: Stampin' Up products: Cardstock--Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, and Silver Foil. Patterned dsp--Be of Good Cheer. Stamp--Make A Mitten... Punch--Mitten Builder, 2-3/8" Scallop. Embossing Folder--Snowburst (scallop-punched border). Rhinestones.

I love your great dp and design on this card. Those mittens are great! And, as always, I am in awe that you have satisfied so many challenges with one card. TFS.
