Lydia's Falliday Challenge is to use a technique from Watercolor Wednesday to create a winter card. I went back to a tutorial from about a year ago, WCW028 Winter Foliage, for this. I think I had actually watched the video a year ago and it seemed way beyond my comfort level at the time, but I guess I've learned a little since then because this was reasonably easy, although I did make several practice versions first. I went with a mini slimline size (partly for the Ways to Use it Challenge, but also because it was about the right size for a painting of mistletoe, and because I'm a big fan of the mini slimline size.) I found the green DP in my stash already cut at the diagonal, and it provided a little interest to the background so I just used it as is.

You did a beautiful job painting mistletoe! I like your pretty twine ribbon. It's so exciting to see how we grow and change. I am thrilled to see that this is not out of your comfort zone now! Beautifully done!
