I really loved this week's WCW challenge-painting ornaments. I went nuts, throwing all sorts of colors on the background, wasn't even paying attention that the artist didn't cover the whole thing with paint, used much more salt that she did. I didn't have any white gouache so I used white acrylic and did some dots with metallic paint instead of doodling and splashing white all over the place. I thought the background looked like frost on a window. I'm also submitting this for Lydia's first FF21.
BTW, I didn't know what 'putti' meant so I looked it up. Putti (Italian) are usually male infants, biologically correct, sometimes with wings but usually not. They are not cherubim

Your ornaments are so pretty and you are right about the frosted window. Awesome slimline card.

I LOVE your bg and Yes it does look like a frosted window. I used a lot of salt, too, but mine bloomed like tiny flowers while yours have the look of a myriad holly leaves. Such cool anomalies with the same technique! Beautiful job on those ornaments, too.
