Ann asked us to put a bright red cardinal on our card. I filled my bird feeder after a summer hiatus on Halloween, and each day we watched eagerly for the birds to return. Then on Nov. 5 (which is also my birthday) Ann posted her cardinal challenge and my husband noticed some sparrows and cardinals back in our yard!

We love the birds too. Your cardinal looks so bright and chipper!

My husband just bought some seed for our feeders. So my job today is to fill them. Your cardinal would be a welcome sight in my yard. We usually have a pair all summer but this year they were missing. Love your pert bird surrounded by holly! I have a holly bush at my front window but have never seen a cardinal in it. :-)
