I love the traditional Christmas colors for this week's color challenge; Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and gold. I chose some of this gorgeous plaid with the metallic gold thread running through it; love it! I stamped first and second generation with the two pine trees for my backdrop. Die cut and colored the deer and cut a curvy base for them to stand on. The little red cardinal adds a pop of color. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold. Thanks for taking a look!

Claudia, I love making nature cards for Christmas. This is stunning! I love how you created the forest of trees with the stamped off trees in the background. They draw the eye back into the scene. The deer family are beautiful in front of the forest. The designer paper used for the card base is the perfect to set off the scene! Love this!!!

Superb use of the challenge colors! Lovely winter scene with the trees and deer. Nicely stamped and stamped off trees to create depth. The red bird adds a nice pop. The plaid paper is beautiful. I used the same pack; the gold line adds a lot. Gorgeous card!

How very beautiful, Claudia! You've created a wonderful winter scene with your trees and deer. Second generation stamping provides great depth of field, and the plaid paper behind the focal image is just perfect!
