Sometimes I like to experiment with different Christmas colors but it was fun to use the CC colors with the addition of the gold. I love it when the host adds a metallic, as that is a go-to for me.

It's a holiday card from Zazzle, not handmade but I love the soft white on the dark green. I brayered the shaded spruce (I love how misty brayering can look) on white and then stenciled with The Greetery stencil and white pigment. Maybe the green wasn't quite dry so the green and white mixed more than I thought. I don't dislike it at all. The rest came quickly, remembering that I had the cardinal brads, perfect for Ann's FF21. I heat embossed the gold branches three times to make them sturdy and smooth. Added some glue and the glitter to the berries. I often add some ink or ep on the edges of layers, I like how it finishes it off. I really love simple sentiments for Christmas, especially Peace and Joy.

What a splendid card and combined with the colour challenge successfully too! I love that background - so misty looking! Gorgeous die cuts and the perfect perch for your little Cardinal!

Beautifully done. Love how the green background fades out. Lovely touches of gold. The red cardinal is an excellent pop of color and perfect for Ann's challenge. Great card.
