Here is my card to CASE the Featured Stamper of the Week, txgrrlnnh. Congratulations to you for being picked!! When I saw her Halloween card last week, I commented because I love how she did her background. Then, this week I'm taking Kristina Werner's online holiday class and day 1 we learned how to make a light coming out of a lamp or out of the sky. I used Distress Oxide inks to color onto already blue cardstock. This is a game changer instead of using white cardstock, you don't have to use so much ink to cover up the cardstock. Anyway, I love this die cut from Sizzix. It makes for such quick cards. I sprayed some Avery Elle white spray mist on it and dabbed some white gel pen all around for the snow. I chose not to add a sentiment for fear I would mess it up! lol Here's the card I chose to CASE Midnight Madness by txgrrlnnh at Splitcoaststampers

Thanks for the sweet comments. This is a fantastic take on my card! Love your night sky! I'll have to remember to try blue cardstock next time I want a night sky.

Ooooh, I love how your sky turned out--you even have a shooting star! Using blue cardstock to start is a great idea -- I'll have to remember that one. Love those die cut carolers with the light shining down on them. Great scene. Great card.

Great card. Thanks for sharing your tips with us. Caroling always says Christmas to me as the family always get together for a time of singing Christmas carols.
