Here is my card for the teapot Tuesday challenge - something old, something new. The new on my card is the patterned paper which I think has an autumn feel to it. We have a newish dollar store close to our house and there is an amazing amount of inexpensive, dare I say cheap, craft supplies. Last week I got 3 pads of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper, 72 pages in all, 1/2 of which are foil embellished, all for only $12. I really am trying to pare down some of my supplies but stamps and paper are a definite weakness. So I've been itching to use some of it. Everything else on this card is old stuff because, well, I'm trying to pare down. I even used an old sketch, SC103.
This card is going to a colleague, part of my fun team. I'm on 2 teams at work, one is all business, the other team is full of fun and laughter and works together well. This team is diverse culturally and in age and gender. We have been spending the past couple of months getting to know each other better and today one team member who spent many years in Africa brought in a meal native to the region he lived in. Absolute yumminess!
Hope you have someone to thank this week. Enjoy the card!

Pretty paper, and the falling leaves are lovely. Ever since I got an envelope punch board, I'm always looking for good value 12x12 packs. Luckily a store in my sister's town stocks some. The meal sounds like great fun. We used to help with the choir in a Francophone African church, and had some very tasty food over the years.

A perfect thank you card for the member of your fun team at work. I enjoyed reading about this group.
