I love the colors for today's CC! I used crumb cake cs for the base, stamped the large oak leaf background in both of the greens and a little of the espresso truffle, used Versamark with the chalks for the acorns on the small oval, stamped the acorns over that, mounted it on an old piece of sheet music, courtesy of Jaynie (Ozpom), added some chalks to that oval and stamped the sentiment in the evergreen.
This is also for today's tea party; we're sending our cards to whomever we wish, using the theme of gratitude/new and old. My new is the background stamp, my old is the music and wood mounted acorn.

This is beautiful, Jean. I love your stamped oak leaves and the music score as backdrops for those tumbling acorns ~ really a special autumn-themed card!

These are the prettiest layers, Jean. Makes a wonderful old and new card.

Beautiful. Peaceful and tranquil. Of course I love the music layer, but your new background stamp looks great. And I've always loved acorns. Since all the trees along the main Street in my hometown were beeches, it was the beech mast I was most familiar with as a child, and I loved the velvet-softness of the inside. Finding acorns and especially the magical little cups was a treat on woodland walks.
Jean, this is such a lovely card. I love the patterned layers, especially the music and how you layered them to highlight your main focal acorn image. Beautiful fall and/or Thanksgiving card.
