The Meyer Disease is 'collecting anything.' I come from a long line of collectors and we've named it! I have collected quite a few things over the years but one thing that I really love is glass. I have mostly paper weights from my Grandma Meyer, also some cruets and a few pieces of stained and leaded glass. I don't add to the collection much because it's rather expensive.
I used two new to me Club Scrap sets. I really enjoyed the technique, will do it again. Thanks, Sabrina. I need to look at those Holiday Blitz tutorials. I had been trying to organize some paper products, the small dsp pad was on top so I opened it and it opened to the main piece of paper, which was perfection. The two pieces of glass in the photo are from Grandma, probably about as old as I am.
As an after thought, I'll add this card to the second to last ABC15-Y is for your favorite technique. I don't know that this is my favorite but it is new to me and I like it!

I really want to try that foil technique. It looks great. Meyer Disease -- interesting concept. I do have a soft spot for pretty glass items (I have a couple glass salt and pepper shakers.) Funny story about collecting glass -- A friend of mine is in public relations and for a while he worked for the Glass Packaging Association. Coincidentally, his wife collected glass do-dads. When he changed jobs to work for the Aluminum Association, I remember him pointing to the collection and saying "see all those. They've got to go. She's going to have to collect aluminum stuff now."

I recognised the Once Upon a Time paper straight away. That was a great pack. And the colours in that one are perfect with your stained glass window style image.

What a meaningful collection for you Jean. I love having things from my creative grandmother and great grandmother! They were both "artists," although not famous. LOL It's so special to hand things down from generation to generation. Your card is gorgeous!

OMG - just wait till I tell my youngest daughter that she has The Meyer Disease. First she will be puzzled and then will laugh as hard as I did when I read your back story! I have seen quite a few of those marvelous blown glass birds and they are deceptively HEAVY. Really pretty card with the foiled stained glass.
