I used this week's sketch to make this card for the Mix and alphabet challenges.
First, I had a play with shaving cream, re-inkers, and stencils. I used two of my pieces on this card. My main panel has a stenciled leaf, the vertical strip has part of a burlap stenciled panel.
I added gold splatter to the leaf panel as well as random burlap stenciling using Crushed Curry. I heat embossed a few acorns as well. The sentiment is a gold foil die cut Happy birthday.

Oh wow, gorgeous!! I saw that in Dina's list and I closed my eyes. Despite the evidence of my eyes, I can't believe it won't just come out a muddy mess if I try it - but this is fantastic, so if I get time over the weekend maybe I'll be brave.
