CT1021 = I used Pink and this is a card of encouragement for a gal fighting Breast Cancer.
I knew exactly the sentiment I wanted to use for today's Tea party recipient. Chemo can take your hair - your strength - your joy of life BUT it cannot take the precious things in your soul! I stamped my Unity gal and in the spirit of today's challenge paper pieced all her clothes ( a real labor of love for someone with skewed vision.) The other bits were colored with prismacolor pencils. The sentiment was stamped with DOX Picked Raspberry and embossed with clear powder. This will get in the mail to Carol as soon as I get home from work.

Truly wonderful paper piecing technique, Linda, and the sentiment will touch Carol's heart! This is a delightful card!

God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
My dear friend, I can feel how much love you put into this card - this paper pieced lady is amazing! The sentiment is spot on, too (I don't know why, but I had a lump in my throat after reading it) - Carol will surely be comforted by these words!

Linda, your card is so inspiring and touching -- reading that quote really touched my heart. You did pick the perfect sentiment for this Tea Party. Love the image and your fabulous paper piecing -- the textures in the sweater and clothing are awesome. Especially love the bursts of yellow that look like sunlight behind the image. Everything about your card is fabulous and I think Carol will be equally touched and inspired by your beautiful card.
