This week's CAS challenge is Midnight. When I was little we had a black cat named Midnight, so that's what inspired my card today. I needed a cat sympathy card for a friend, so I cut this cat silhouette with my ScanNCut and sponged a full moon behind it. It would have made a good Halloween card too.

indeed it would have been a great Halloween card, Jen, but your friend will find comfort within. The sponged bg, I had to keep scrolling back to take in all the depth.

Awwww, what a great friend you are to make such a wonderful card! The sky is beautiful, and the moon is simply amazing! You really gave it a realistic look with the craters. Wow!

Midnight the Cat was a sort of co-host for a very early TV show when I was little. Didn't think of it until you wrote about your own. Love the moon, and good sympathy card for your friend.
