The Winter's family have gathered for their annual family pictures. Maude and Clyde Winter and their three kids, Izzy, Beckett and Addie have been gathering yearly for years. Maude, (mama Winter) gives them a colorway every year - this year they could wear Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, and Cinnamon Cider. This year everyone cooperated for a change. More than one holiday picture was ruined when Beckett, the family rebel refused to get with the colorway. But this year he seems to be maturing nicely and wore a swell combo of Coastal Cabana and Cinnamon Cider. This shot here was their favorite- everyone smiled at the same time, no fighting, no melt downs. There was a bit of concern about the colors clashing with their orange noses, but a snowman is not a snowman without a carrot, - so carrots for dessert this week because after all, anything goes. They all brought their homemade snowballs for the annual snowball exchange after pictures. The Winter's decided that the night sky makes a beautiful backdrop for holiday pictures - and they wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!! Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Oh Karen, your card made me smile and your write-up made me laugh. What a fun family the Winters are and their family pic did turn out great. Smart choice on their part to use that beautiful night sky with that beautiful moon. And, I think they all well these colors beautifully -- carrot nose and all. Absolutely adorable, fun card.

Oh, what a story, Karen! This is positively adorable - as usual. And fussy cutting too! I can't wait to point this out to a friend who is in love with these characters.

Love the story Karen, I'm so glad no one had a 'melt down' or the sitting would have been over! Super cute card and a great idea of using another color for your dessert!

What a great card and what a funny story! I could relate with our family photo sessions. Love your humor with "no meltdowns" and other cute phrases. Wonderful use of the challenge colors. Love the carrots for dessert. Fabulous scene!

The cuteness of the card is surpassed only by the clever back story that you shared! What fun they both are! I love how you used this week's colors for their outfits!
