What a fun technique today! But I have no idea where my Stazon ink pad is. I can't even remember the last time I used it. Fortunately, I have the reinker, so I found an old ink pad and just inked it up with Stazon. I smushed in yellow and aqua paint as well as some aqua glitter paint. There is such a fabulous shimmer to this in real life. I went looking for a group of animals for my boss's Bosses' Day card and thought these cats looked fun. So I have the Bosses' Day card that is similar to my card from Friday. But I like to make two cards and this one I thought would be fun with "If cats could text you back...they wouldn't."
haha! so cute! Your card looks fabulous with the technique! I kind of think mine would but it IS hard to get my adult kids to text me back! LOL I think my cats would ask where is the food and when we are coming back! I love this. Such a fun card and it put a smile on my face!

People give cats such a bad reputation, but when I was little, my mother said she always knew when I'd gone to sleep because my cat stayed with me till I had, and then would go and join the rest of the family. And when my mother tried shutting her out of my room when I had regular bronchitis in my teens, that didn't work because she howled and howled and pushed against the door till she was allowed back. Your rep for gorgeous bright happy cards is well deserved, though. Gorgeous background and such a sweet image.

I am slowly becoming more of a cat person than a dog person. That's almost sacrilegious in our family and I must keep it to myself. But I really love the cats in my family more than the dogs...the dogs are messy and loud and big. Maybe more fun but.....I'm so glad you gave this a whirl and used glitter paint. I was thinking, after the fact, that you could sprinkle in some glitter. I wonder how flat sequins would show up. Must experiment. Cats are above texting. Love your work!
