So glad to see Dagmar as the FS this week. Her gallery is full of MIX treasures and fun techniques and she has a fun way with ink! She is very encouraging and sweet too!
I kept the inky background but changed up the colors, I kept the folliage but drew mine and had it come out of my fun (new to me) image from Visible image.
I have been reading alot lately and this page is a nod to that. I know it is a hot mess, but I am going with it!

Not a hot mess -- a beautiful and inspiriting journal page. Awesome bg to start. I love the imagery you created with the leaf (I will interpret as tree) springing from the book (and I adore that stamp -- it's gorgeous). So allegories spring to mind: tree of knowledge; reading makes you grow; the world around your is filled with beauty. Awesome page Nancy.
