One more card for the MIX453: Bountiful Harvest. Prompt was to use something you have from a catalog, newspaper, or magazine. I couldn't resist 'Mutts' from the comics earlier this week...those cute mutts are finding joy in my favorite time of the year. I decided to cut the strip apart and make my card a slimline shape. Easy to slip into a business envelop.
The Color Challenge is hosted by Chris (inkpad) this week and she has selected a trio of retro colors. Bermuda Bay, Real Red, and Basic Black. The mutts of the comic mentioned all these hues! I used the TH dies to cut the three colors.
I stenciled the base of my card with a tree. I used neutral dark hues to create a night sky.
What is your favorite season, I'd love to hear? Thanks for stopping by.

Leave it to you to include some funnies on your card....and they fit the color challenge! I like your bg,,,the stenciled part which is a bit dark in contrast to the brighter leaves....that's just the way Fall looks, it's a combo of the two. Very clever!

Is this ever a clever and cute card - those mutts ARE adorable. I really think the squirrels might be from our urban neighborhood park. They own the place!!! I love your background!

Omigosh, I'm still chuckling. I love Mutts; I love that they mentioned all the colors for the challenge; but I mostly love your creativity in turning that into this great card. So stinkin' cute.
