This was done following along with this weeks tutorial for watercoloring on youtube. I did have a lot of water on mine and did it in stages over some time on Sunday afternoon. Beautifully done Stacy. Like how you have the light reflecting the sky from the moon. It did take layers to achieve the darkness. Like the sentiment.TFS
Ok, I need that sentiment! Your moon is gorgeous with lots of texture! I really do like your sentiment down at the bottom, I may have to add a sentiment to mine!

LMAO Stacy - I'm not sure whether to laugh (at the hilarious sentiment) or tear up (at the beauty of your painting). Seriously, dear, this is phenomenal! Amazing job!!! I can't wait to give this tutorial a go, but I don't think I'll get anywhere near close to as beautiful a finished piece as yours!

Okay that sentiment is THE BEST EVER! I may have to figure a way to add that to my card as I thought I would use mine as a birthday card for my girlfriend who was born on Halloween. I checked you blog to see the progression of colors as you added layer of blue. Nicely done keeping those concentric circles around your moon and the forest of pines to cradle it.
