Truthfully, I don't know what kind of inks I used on my two BG pieces. I'd guess Oxides on the leaf stenciled one and Distress on the lavender piece. I had to cut the lavender one down way more than I originally intended, which led me down a different design path. My littlest granddaughter picked these two flowers for me and I smashed them into an absorbent paper with the embossing machine. Experimenting, I daubed Boss Gloss onto the flowers, sprinkled on some UTEE and used the heat gun from behind to encapsulate them. Decided to die cut them with circles. These color combos are very different for me, but I am enjoying the mix.

How nice to have your DGD pick flowers for you! I love the addition to the leaf bg and the bold sentiment!!

I have done quite a few smashed flower images over the years but usually brushed away most of the bits once they made their impression. Only you my friend would think to encapsulate those bits in UTEE and what a wonderful texture it gives. They absolutely needed to be cut down and spotlighted in this way. Glad you got the chance to play in this tickle.
