Here is my card for the teapot Tuesday challenge. Quote as a focal point - check. Complementary patterned papers - check. Autumn colours - check.
Though many think of the bright reds, yellows and oranges of fall, I think of browns, too. The rustic look of burlap inspired this and the papers, which I've had forever, are called "burlap doilies" and "natural stitching". The leaves are stamped on "boho paisley" and fussy cut. I don't think I have ever used the maple leaf stamp before as it doesn't have much detail on it's own. I do like it stamped on this paper though. This card is headed out to tickle a fellow teapotter. Enjoy!

Perfect play of patterns and textures, Vicky! I also love every element you put in here - from the plaid leaves, the grosgrain ribbon to the twine bow - such a beautiful card!

Love those patterned paper leaves, so pretty. And the papers, too. I was just saying to someone today that, because it was such a lovely sunny day, I cycled to a nearby park and garden, and had been surprised at how many blue flowers there were - I think of that as a Spring colour, for sure. But I'll add it to my autumn arsenal for the future - the herbaceous border was full of blues.

What a brilliant idea to stamp the maple leaf on patterned paper. Those leaves really steal the show! I love everything about this gorgeous card, Vicky!
