Thanks to our wonderful hostess, Barbara... we have some fun colors to work with this week! Barbara has selected Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron, and Terracotta Tile The dessert option this week is... create something with a 'Dessert' (cake, cookies, cupcake, etc.) What fun this is going to be!
My design this week is using all the challenge colors however, I've added two neutrals, Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake. The pies were stamped on Crumb Cake and Terracotta Tile cardstock, then trimmed and paper pieced to create the pies. The pies were highlighted with Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. The pie stand was stamped on So Saffron cardstock and highlighted with So Saffron Stampin' Blends. Two embossing folders were used for the Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake strips.

Oh, a yummy dessert AND a Christmas card, all in one! I love the depth you created with your pies. Thanks for describing your process! Sweet layout and very homey with the gingham DS paper in the background!

Literally a sweet card with the yummy looking pies. Like the warm, country feeling you achieved with your subject matter and choice of DP and the embossed heart banner.
