Julie picked Natalie aks Natalieoshea as this week's Featured Stamper. What a fun gallery! My daughter texted me late last night to make her a lego themed birthday card for her son who is having a birthday party today. I used this lovely card by Natalie as my inspiration:
I was going to print the character but my printer was out of ink and I had to draw it. The arms came out horrible so I covered them up with the sentiment banner. I was also going to add a punched heart but noticed the circle punch and thought it woud be good to do a lego block background instead.
Inside it reads "Birthday Figure" and has a picture of him dressed up as Batman from his trip to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend.
Hope she likes it - she also asked me to do a lego banner, pin the head on the lego figure, a cake topper, fruit skewers topped with a lego figurine heads, and a lego themed charcuterie tray. All without much notice....does that happen to you too?
Congrats, Natalie. Love your happy and sweet style.

That's what happens to you overachievers who always deliver...and we all know you will deliver today too. Happy Birthday to your grandson. He is sure to enjoy this adorable card especially since you drew the character for him. Is he the one who likes to make cards with you? Then he will love it even more because he will recognize everything you did to make it. Love the idea of the circle punch to create the Lego block. Good luck today!

I'd say that is pretty genius using the circle punch to represent legos! Super sweet card for your grandson! All the rest of the requests is a tall order!
Wow, great job on drawing your guy, Nancy and the circles was genius for the Lego theme! I would never get all the rest of the requests done on time! Good grief!
