I stamped my ballerina from Penny Black on watercolor paper and lightly water colored her. I stenciled around her with a mini floral stencil from Tim Holtz and die cut the piece with a Spellbinders oval die.
I took a small rectangle of tulle, folded it in half and gathered it along the top edge with white thread, tying it in a knot to make her tutu. I adhered it over her skirt with a piece of ScorTape and trimmed the bottom to fit.
I adhered the oval over a striped DP that I had cut with a Crimped Frame die from the Greetery, with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment from a retired WMS set, punched it out and stenciled over it with the same stencil so it blended into the oval.
To finish it off, I added some enamel dots.
