Color Challenge: Curry Pie with a cup of Blue Espresso with Fall for dessert.
We are still over 100 degrees at times over here in the Southwest US; we are swimming, wearing shorts & flip flops, enjoying cool treats. So I had trouble getting into the Autumn mood. However, today I went shopping at a couple favorite stores that carry holiday decor. I saw all the Thanksgiving and Autumn decorations and now I am getting there! I learned that blue is definitely in the mix this year with all the traditional autumn colors.
For my card, I used a new stamp set, Gorgeous Leaves for the first time. Stamped up some leaves and blue texture. Added a favorite Thanksgiving sentiment. I like the combination of two fonts. Die-cut the panel and layered on a strip of DSP in the perfect colors. A button laced with linen thread for an accent. Thanks Jeneanne for inspiration and beautiful colors for Fall. TFL

Ooh, this is gorgeous, Diane. I don't have this set yet, but have something similar I can use I think. So going to case this one! Nothing like browsing in the stores to get you in an Autumn mood! Well done on the color challenge!
