This was done inspired by this pretty card in Lois's gallery seen here. So, the in joke is I really am not allowed to call hubs at work, and he bought this stamp for me as a gift a while back and I colored her in blue and red and set her aside... and then I seen that card of Lois's and I thought she almost fits colors & theme for "love" so, to make it a little more distressed I painted over the printed paper ( its blue and cream originally) with paints and then when that was dry I ran it through a SU folder in the big shot and rubbed some dark blue dox over the raised texture. other changes are its square and I did not follow the sketch. Lois, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Ardyth, & tfl.

How fun!
My DH had a job like that in our early years, it was a drag but I understand how these days everyone stays on their cell phone during work and it can irritate paying customers (like me).
That he found & bought you the stamp speaks very highly for him!

what a chuckle I had with this one, Stacy! Those Emerson gals were just the best and why, never seem to age. I loved that card of Lori's...you did a great job translating.

Haha! So funny! It's very loud where my husband works so even if I call him he doesn't pick up because he can't hear his phone ring. He does text me now and then though! Such a great card! A wonderful take on Lois' card!

Your husband definitely gets points for his gift! I love the treatment you gave your background. It recreates the tones of Lois's card nicely. Your gal really put a smile on my face!

Super cute card Stacy, it made me chuckle. If my husband saw this stamp he would have bought it for me too. LOL Love all the textures and colors. Ardyth made a great choice for FS this week.

Well thanks for starting this day with a good chuckle and a fun peek at your fun card. Love everything about this...especially that your hubby gifted you with that snarky comment. LOL. So fun.
