Her paper reminded me of a pack of tropical papers that my SCS friend, Dawn Mercedes had sent to me for our mutual birthday. I first thought I would use a multiple item print as Lois did, but this toucan paper sparked my interest. I liked how Lois had embossed her background and used fun embellishments. Instead of sunglasses, I used a butterfly, some sparkly jewels and two large flowers. I changed the layout so not the copy the Sketch Challenge but kept the rectangle. Changed to birthday theme and stamped my sentiment directly on the paper.
Thank you Lois for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine today! TFL

Fabulous and fun, Diane! That DSP is soft yet colorful and you matched the flowers perfectly. I also like your restraint with the bling, with just enough to add interest without distracting from the toucan. Now I wonder whether I need a bowl of FruitLoops or a trip to the Zoo...

I love that fun paper, and the bg and embellies make this card really nice. Well done!

Love this fun tropical card. That dp was the perfect starting point and your embellishments and matting (love the ef green layer) added just the perfect elements of fun and charm to make this card soar. Gayle is spot on -- it's just the right amount of bling. So adorable. Fabulous CASE and a fabulous card.
