Story behind the card - I had been watching videos on using up DP's and cutting them onto usable card fronts ready for any time you want to make a card. When I saw this challenge I sorted through ready cut bases and card fronts, used my CM Circles Custom Cutting system for the Cutaway. The butterfly is from a pack I bought several years ago. The pink thread was from a scrapbook company Top-Line Creations for which I was a consultant but which has not been in operation for many years. I thought it time to use up these items.

Thank you Sabrina for your kind words. I think it would look good whichever way it was done. You don't get as much of a cutaway if its in portrait though. Thanks again.

Great idea to cut up Designer papers to card size. Maybe if I did that I would get some of them used up. I have way too much paper. I love the pattern in this pretty one and the little butterfly is the perfect corner element.

Love your dps -- especially the pink floral -- and the way you combined them to show off that sweet butterfly. And that sentiment is great -- we could all use a bit of magic in our lives, especially right now. Lovely, sweet card. It has it's own kind of magic -- the kind that makes people smile when they see it.
