I took photos along the way for making my dragonfly. What I am slowly learning about watercoloring is "layers". Which is teaching me patience because unless I want a brown muddy mess, I have to wait for each layer to dry. What I have found that helps is having several different projects so I can be working on another one while the first one dries. Today those other projects were the rest of the poppies that I had on my panel pull out card.

Thanks, MaryLynn for sharing your process of watercoloring the dragonfly. Yes watercoloring is so much about layers. You illustrated so well with this upload. Thanks for sharing your talent. It's so nice to learn from each other. TFS

Yes, I have found that so when I am doing a stamped image I have two of them going at once so, it helps me with the hurry up and wait for it to dry part of the system. ( patience is not my virtue) Love that you did this series of a timeline of shots.
