Jeanne gave us some beautiful fall warm colors. I took them and painted a female cardinal. Using the reference photo from the computer and a light box sketched it and painted with my Daniel Smith watercolors. Brought the blue in with the stencil. TFL

Wow, Linda, this is a Gorgeous painting of the female cardinal! They just don't get the attention the males do, so glad you chose to paint her and so beautifully done! The blue bg seems to make her Pop so well~

Breathtaking!!!!! with the birds all getting sick, I sure miss our cardinals!
