Hi, everyone! This week's Technique Lover's Challenge is 'Cutaway Corner'. This was perfect to help me make a birthday card for my uncle which will be mailed tomorrow. The stamps I used are from the 'Be Joyful' set by Divinity Designs LLC. The image was stamped in Stazon directly onto the designer paper from the 'Weathered Wood' Paper Collection, then watercolored and highlighted with a white gel pen. The same paper was used for the banner and word die. Other items used: Slimline Lattice Embossing Folder, Family Names 3 Dies, Large Banners Dies, Pierced Rectangles Dies, Circles Dies, Matting Rectangle Die, and A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer Dies. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

Wow! I really like this example of the cut-away corner! I tried it this week but can't share it for a while. It's fun. This is absolutely beautiful yet totally masculine too.

Really a rich wonderful card. your coloring of the quail is beautiful. They are such a fun bird to watch. I love how they bob a bit when they walk. The papers and deep colors on the card base are just right for a wonderful masculine card.

Awesome masculine card and fabulous coloring. Love that covey of quail in the corner. Stamping and coloring directly onto the dp looks fabulous. Wonderful card with an equally wonderful sentiment for his special day. Great card.
